The history of Selmer Paris dates back to 1885, when Henri Selmer, a clarinetist who graduated from the Paris Conservatorie, began manufacturing his own reeds and mouthpieces. In 1898 he began manufacturing clarinets and by 1900 he had won awards and began to export his instruments to England. 1906 marked the first shop in the USA, and by 1922 they were manufacturing saxophones as well. The first trumpet model, called the “Armstrong”, was introduced in 1933. Even into modern day, Selmer Paris has kept true to traditional designs while introducing innovative new models that satisfy even the most critical professionals.

Chorus 80J Bb:

The Chorus 80J has been developed from the original "Chorus" model in conjunction with international artist Guy Touvron. More jazz and light music orientated, its great versatile qualities will also tempt many classical trumpet players. An easy and centered tone production, a good general open feeling, especially in the high register, and a great flexibility make the Chorus 80J effective in various music settings.

Concept TT Bb:

The Concept TT is an artistic offer that supplements the Chorus models, enriching the Selmer Paris B-flat trumpet line. A design based on the "TT" ("Twin Tube", double tube mouth pipe) technology gives it exceptional acoustic qualities: a direct, centered sound, which is very open harmonically, excellent response and a wide dynamic range. All these elements contribute to remarkable flexibility and make it suitable for musicians playing in orchestras and larger or smaller groups (soloist or section). The quality of these functional elements (slide adjustment, valve functioning, grip) and the care taken in making the Concept TT result in a top-level trumpet.
