Pearl’s handmade craftsmanship has pioneered a tradition of flute making since 1968. Many of their makers spend their entire career working solely at the Pearl workshop. Model 105:
The remarkable PFP-105E and ES piccolos are the culmination of years of exploration and research into the creation of a totally new material - Grenaditte. Precise pitch, an exquisite tonal center and a spacious dynamic range are all to be found within these new, innovative instruments. Grenaditte is impervious to temperature fluctuations, ensuring Pearl's remarkable performance anywhere. In line with the entire Pearl flutes range, the 105 series is manufactured with a world renowned Pinless mechanism on its silver plated keys as standard and is the only piccolo on the market to feature this innovation. The Pearl piccolos include French pointed arms, a bulb design headjoint with a choice of high wave or straight embouchure, and a Split E mechanism.

Model 165:
The PFP-165E piccolo pairs the stability of a grenaditte body with the warmth of a grenadilla wood headjoint. Like the 105, the 165 includes a Split E mechanism, as well as the other features seen above.
