The model H181 features a bronze bell that produces a darker sound. Capable of a wide range of dynamics, it can be played loud without a brassy edge to the sound. It has a .468” bore, a 12.25” large throat hand hammered bronze bell, solid brass bow and branches, tapered rotors and bearing, a water key on the mouthpipe, and solid nickel silver inner and outer slides. The model H281 has all the above features plus a detachable screw bell.
