This is a versatile horn quite appropriate for high school and college marching band and orchestral performance. The model H177 offers a mouthpipe with a .310" Venturi for a bright, compact feel and sound. It includes a hand-fitted rotary valve system, string linkage, separate Bb tuning slide and change lever designed to fit the thumb in a natural position. The nickel silver material is extremely corrosion resistant. It has a .468” bore, a 12.25” medium throat hand hammered bell, tapered rotors and bearing, and solid nickel silver inner and outer slides. The model H277 has all the above features plus a detachable screw bell.
