The keys and hinge tubing are nickel silver with heavy silver plating. The mechanism is a handmade full conservatory system, including split ring Eb/E trill key, F# key tab, third octave key, low Bb vent key, left hand F, alternate C, articulated C#, and bell key adjusting screw. It has cork pads on low C and above and an adjustable thumb rest.
